Major fashion, textile, beauty, wine and furniture-design fairs have published their 2027 dates. For teams travelling from China, start with business goals, participant roles and admission requirements, then coordinate the stand, meetings, samples and travel in one plan.
Choose by purpose rather than filling the calendar
These are published 2027 dates. Tickets, eligibility, approvals and individual show schedules still require the edition’s guidance.
| Fair and city | 2027 dates and preparation | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Pitti Uomo · Florence | 12–15 January, menswear and lifestyle. Shortlist brands and collections before buying or distribution meetings; accompanying visitors are not automatically professional buyers. | Focus: brands, collections and channels. |
| Milano Unica · Rho | 2–4 February, apparel fabrics and accessories. Define use, composition, development season and samples before contacting relevant companies. | Focus: material selection and development. |
| Cosmoprof · Bologna | 18–21 March, the beauty supply chain. Brands, packaging, ingredients, contract manufacturing and machinery call for different routes; check each individual show’s schedule. | Focus: distinguish brand buying from supply-chain work. |
| Vinitaly · Verona | 11–14 April, wine and spirits. Define channels and selection criteria before arranging meetings with brands, regional producers and export teams. | Focus: products, distribution and export discussions. |
| Salone del Mobile · Rho | 13–18 April, furniture and design. Plan for residential, contract, materials or project needs; 2026 prices still shown online are not 2027 ticket prices. | Focus: projects, products and design meetings. |

Three scheduling mistakes to avoid before booking
Nearby cities on a map do not make every important meeting possible on the same day.
Treating separate dates as one short trip
January’s Pitti Uomo and February’s Milano Unica are weeks apart, not a short sequence of consecutive fairs. Consider separate trips or a longer stay only when both have a clear purpose.
Ignoring overlaps and transfers
Calculated from the published dates, Vinitaly and Salone overlap on 13–14 April 2027. For Verona and Milan, identify fixed meetings and essential halls before choosing the visit order, and allow separate time for travel between cities.
Assuming every team member can enter
Buyers, manufacturers, press, students and companions may fall into different categories. Establish each person’s role and use the appropriate accreditation route.

Four decisions before applying for a stand
An attractive stand image is one step. The proposal must also support approvals, construction, use and dismantling.
Purpose and exhibits
Align products, audience, demonstrations, meeting and storage needs. Raise heavy equipment, power, water or special materials early so technical conditions inform the design.
Organiser and venue documents
Collect the contract, stand location, dimensions, open sides, height limits, technical manual and build and dismantling windows. Assign drawing submissions and approvals with clear deadlines.
Scope and budget
Compare design, production, venue connections, transport, equipment, staffing, cleaning and dismantling separately. Specify inclusions, exclusions, revisions and cancellation terms.
Acceptance and handover
Before opening, check lighting, graphics, equipment and storage with a named on-site contact. At dismantling, account for materials, hired equipment and storage handovers.
Connect interpreting, samples and on-site arrangements
Connect each service to a task and an owner.
Interpreting and business meetings
Share the company introduction, terminology, agenda and key questions. The interpreter supports communication; pricing, contracts and technical decisions stay with the responsible people.
Samples, transport and storage
Record quantities, dimensions, packing, delivery and post-fair destinations. Materials with temperature, hazardous-goods or customs conditions need confirmation from the relevant providers.
Place city experiences at the right time
Reserve separate time for Florence, Milan’s design scene or Verona. Sightseeing should not displace stand checks, buyer appointments or handovers requiring the responsible person.
A working plan from now to opening day
This is a suggested working sequence, not a replacement for the organiser’s deadlines.
Choose the fair and participation role
Define visiting or exhibiting, industry goals and roles, then check the edition’s website. For a stand, establish the application and contract status before design.
Confirm the scope and supporting services
List stand work, interpreting, transport, accommodation, samples and storage separately. Confirm the owner, documents, delivery milestone and cost for each; have the relevant provider verify any required qualifications or procedures before arrival.
Final handover and follow-up
Bring together documents, contacts and open questions, with a check before opening. After the fair, connect each lead to a product, need and next action.
Practical questions
Can I use 2026 prices and registration rules once 2027 dates are announced?
Not automatically. Dates, application opening, eligibility, prices and manuals are separate information. Salone explicitly says the visible prices are still for 2026, not 2027.
How should a supplier in China hand over to the team in Italy?
Share the edition’s technical manual, approved dimensioned drawings, editable artwork, material and packing lists, and delivery and build milestones. Assign owners for design, production, transport, submissions, venue connections and on-site acceptance; confirm changes against one shared version.
Does application coordination guarantee a stand or professional admission?
We can help prepare materials and coordinate the application. Stand allocation, eligibility and admission remain the organiser’s decisions. Confirm travel as the key conditions are established.
