Genoa
From the old port to the lanes
Arrive and explore Porto Antico and the historic centre. Choose either a palace visit or the aquarium if interested, rather than squeezing both into the afternoon.
02 Day 2
Camogli → Cinque Terre area
A coastal pause before changing base
Stop in Camogli for the harbour and lunch, then continue to your base near the Cinque Terre. Settle luggage first and keep the evening close to your accommodation.
03 Day 3
Vernazza and Monterosso
Two villages with time by the sea
Link Vernazza and Monterosso by train, stopping for lunch in one village. Hiking is optional and depends on current trail access, weather and the group’s fitness.
04 Day 4
Manarola and departure
One last village
With a late departure, leave luggage and make a short visit to Manarola. Otherwise travel directly to the station; do not rely on a boat operating for an essential connection.
