Pace, season and who it suits
Pace Two nights in each city, with no demanding attraction on the transfer day.
Season Autumn, winter and spring suit outdoor time; humid summer heat, storms and typhoons can affect plans.
Who it suits Families and friends who enjoy waterfront walks, contemporary cities and a relaxed pace.
Shenzhen Bay’s waterfront paths
Urban greenery and modern neighbourhoods
A selected stretch of Zhuhai’s coastal promenade
01 Day 1
Futian, Shenzhen
Arrive for a short Futian skyline walk
After resting, choose an easy out-and-back walk in Futian for exterior views of Ping An Finance Centre and the skyline. An observation-deck visit is not assumed; eat and rest, leaving the bay until tomorrow.
02 Day 2
Shenzhen Bay
A day of bay views and green space
Choose one waterfront section or open area near the mangroves, avoiding the strongest midday sun. Alternate easy walking with seated breaks; bird sightings depend on natural conditions rather than a guaranteed programme.
03 Day 3
Shenzhen to Zhuhai
Make the intercity transfer the main task
Travel to Zhuhai using confirmed rail connections or a road transfer, including luggage and the final hotel connection. After checking in, keep to a short coastal walk without assuming direct services or adding a border crossing.
04 Day 4
Zhuhai
Choose one comfortable coastal stretch
Choose a coastal section around Xianglu Bay or the Yeli Island area rather than attempting the whole promenade. Pause for lunch in the shade and continue only if conditions remain comfortable, keeping the sea as today’s focus.
05 Day 5
Zhuhai
Shape the final morning around departure
After breakfast, leave for your airport, station or next city. A nearby walk is possible if time allows, but avoid another distant coastal section; apparent closeness on the bay map does not guarantee a short transfer.
