01 Day 1
Guiyang
Arrive in Guiyang for a meal and short walk
After checking in, choose a short city walk and settle into the trip. Try local food at a comfortable spice level, confirm tomorrow’s Huangguoshu transport and leave enough time for a full night’s rest.
02 Day 2
Huangguoshu
A full waterfall day with a manageable route
Focus on the main Huangguoshu waterfall, selecting viewpoints according to access and energy. Take slippery steps slowly and include seated breaks; passage behind the waterfall depends on conditions, before the return to Guiyang.
03 Day 3
Guiyang to Zhenyuan
Transfer to Zhenyuan for a gentle riverside evening
Travel to Zhenyuan using confirmed rail or road connections, allowing time for changes, luggage and hotel arrival. Take only a nearby riverside walk after check-in, saving a closer look at the old town for tomorrow.
04 Day 4
Zhenyuan
Explore the old town through lanes and riverside walks
Walk beside the Wuyang River and through old-town lanes, stopping for tea with a water view. Rest in the afternoon, keeping stepped visits to hillside buildings optional rather than making a climb essential for everyone.
05 Day 5
Zhenyuan to Guiyang
Return to Guiyang with time for onward travel
Return to Guiyang according to confirmed onward arrangements, allowing station and road-connection time. Add a Guiyang night if a long-distance flight would be too tight, and keep the day for travel without another old-town stop.
